Armani Beauty's Neo Nude Foundation Transforms My Skin With One Drop

Like many folks during quarantine, I really started to embrace the no-makeup life, and more days than not, I'd go foundation-free — that, or just dot on a little of my beloved Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint for some super-light coverage. Recently, though, I was watching a beauty favorites video by the lovely Esteé LaLonde on YouTube, and she was waxing poetic about Armani Beauty's Neo Nude Foundation, calling it her new "ride-or-die" base.

Well, I was #influenced y'all, because I immediately had to have it. Now, lo and behold, it's my new must-have foundation.

I love it for essentially of the reasons Esteé does: It's featherlight, feels like you're wearing nothing (and I mean noth-ing), and ultimately still lets my natural skin shine through. As you can see in the before-and-after photos, it's also got incredible coverage — the smallest amount makes all of my redness disappear, which is pretty impressive considering how light and natural-looking it is.

Shade-wise, there are 24 colors to choose from. I personally wear shade five — a light-medium with neutral undertones — and it's pretty spot-on, but I could probably get away with wearing a shade lighter or darker because it's so lightweight and melts into the skin really well. I do think there could be more dark hues added to the lineup, though, so hopefully the brand extends the shade range down the line.

As far as formula is concerned, it's somewhere between a liquid and a cream, and it contains a hydrating blend of glycerin and hyaluronic acid to nourish the skin while you wear it. I can tell, too, because my skin stays hydrated all day when I wear it — and it never settles into dry patches or looks cakey.

If you've been on the hunt for a foundation that doesn't really feel — or look — like you're wearing anything, I'd highly recommend giving this base a try. You can score Armani Beauty's Neo Nude Foundation for $40 on sephora.com](https://shop-links.co/1719229548328009134){: rel="nofollow"}
