The Post-Workout Recovery Meal Kim Kardashian Can’t Get Enough Of

For the most part, Kim Kardashian’s lifestyle is the stuff us mere mortals can only dream of (looking at you, Louis Vuitton garbage bins.) But every now and then the reality TV star says something so g-damn relatable, we can’t help but raise our hands in agreement.

Case in point, her latest Snapchat vid. 

In the series of clips, Kim vents about her lack of motivation to go to the gym.

“You guys, I am so not in the mood to work out today,” she says in the clip. “Have you ever just like sleepwalked through a workout? That’s what I feel like doing today.”

Girl, we’ve been there.

But it soon became clear that what the mum-of-three was dreading most was actually her trainer Melissa Alcantara’s workout of choice: walking lunges (affectionately dubbed, “the most evil of all evils.”)

Thankfully though, Kim had a reason to push through. 

After the sweat sesh she refueled with a plate of protein pancakes, topped with bananas, berry compote, a fried egg and fresh fruit on the side.

And while at first glance it might look like a cheat day brekkie – the protein and fibre in the pancakes help restore energy and keep you feeling full, making it a perfectly healthy (not to mention super delish) option.
