Huda Kattan, the queen of full-face makeup, is a little too busy being a Huda Boss to get her makeup done before work in the morning. Apparently, that means she has to put on her face in the elevator sometimes. It's a variation of swiping your mascara on during a subway ride or flipping down the car's rearview mirror to swipe on a quick coat of lipstick. But what for most of us is a mild inconvenience is for Kattan a lightbulb moment for a glam competition. To commemorate her own achievement — applying a full face of makeup in the time it takes the elevator to arrive at her floor — she's started an "Elevator Makeup Challenge."
Kattan shared her own Elevator Makeup Challenge results on Instagram and laid out the rules for the competition in her caption. The instructions are simple: Ride an elevator from the bottom to the top floor, and (somehow!) get a full face of makeup done during that time. Upload the video to Instagram with the hashtag #ElevatorMakeupChallenge. Once the entries come in, Kattan herself will choose three finalists. Starting on July 28, followers can log onto hudabeauty.com to vote for the winner. The best part? According to a press release, that winner will receive $5,000 toward a makeup scholarship, beauty training course, or the charity of their choice.
Fans are getting on board (not to mention, already thinking of ways to beat the system). "Impossible unless the lift is very very veryyyyy slow," wrote one commenter on Instagram. "Does it count if [I] do it climbing stairs?? Because there is no big building with elevators in Belgium," another fan asked.

You have from July 18 to July 27 to submit an Elevator Makeup Challenge video. So grab your makeup bag and a friend to help with filming, and start searching for the tallest building — with the slowest elevator — you can find.
