People seem to really like nude lipstick though, so perhaps the error is on me. I'm not going to say this one appears "universally flattering" but I am going to say that it's a warm pinky-nude that doesn't appear intimidating at all. What does that have to do with Cancers? Perhaps it's the tranquil and non-threatening presence, and its ability to make your lips look nice in a your-lips-but-better way. No showy business here. Just like a Cancer. We just want to support and take care of you. We want you to look great, but not for any personal credit, just because it's in our mothering nature.
That said, never cross a Cancer. We won't retaliate in any super-confrontational way, but we will 100 percent sabotage you in subtle and unique ways if you betray us. Kind of like the wrong nude lipstick.

According to the brand, this lipstick is suited perfectly for the textbook Gemini: "Gemini is an air sign, ruled by the planet of communication, Mercury. Gemini — represented by twins — embraces duality and is all about having fun. Gemini thrives on change and can’t stand too much sameness. Those born under this sign are social butterflies, youthful and playful."
This limited-edition Amuse Bouche Lipstick gets released into the wild on May 21 (the first day of Gemini season, duh) on sephora.com and bitebeauty.com for $26. Like its predecessors, these zodiac-themed lipsticks do tend to sell out tout suite, so if you're a Gemini, maybe now isn't the best time for your cosmic indecisiveness. (Just kidding. Sort of.)
The Taurus shade is a described as a "muted white-chocolate rose." Says astrologer Tara Greene (who Bite Beauty worked with to develop these lipsticks) of the sign: "Taurus is an earth sign, ruled by the planet of love, Venus. Sleepy, sensual Taurus is enamored with everyday luxuries: Flowers, chocolate, and all the finer things in life are essential to beauty-loving bulls. OK, so my moon sign is a Taurus and, sure, I like nice things, I like luxury, and I'm stubborn as hell (but also a ride-or-die friend, so take what you will). I also love napping and decorating my nest but hell no to cooking. Can't win 'em all, I guess.
But this is about lipstick. And this one is a nice take on an Earth sign — nude but blushy. OK, Taurus. Astrology by Bite Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Taurus will be available April 20, setting you back $26 bones at Sephora.com and it's first come, first swiped so don't dawdle, Taurus.
I like to think I'm a reasonable person, but as a Cancer, I feel that I've been personally victimized by too many Aries to just be OK with them. That said, I will attempt to place my cosmic contempt aside and report on Bite Beauty's newest upcoming Astrology lipstick shade stupid Aries.

Of course, I was immediately drawn to it and went Oooooh when I saw it.
Of course, I know this will probably sell out just as quickly as the Aquarius and Pisces lipsticks did (in two days), if not quicker.
Fear not. Soon, you will be able to color your lips this red-hot shade of "arrogant bastard" (cosmically speaking). The limited-edition Aries lipstick will be available exclusively on Sephora.com starting March 21, while supplies last. It will cost $26. And you know what, I hope all the Aries out there throw $26 at this lipstick so they have less time and resource to ruin the lives of the real heros and martyrs of the astrology, us Cancers. To create shades as individual as each star sign, Bite consulted with astrologist Tara Greene, a psychic astrologer, tarot, tea, and lipstick reader (coolest job ever? Yes!).
