We know Christmas is a few months away but somehow every year it manages to sneak up on us. Then there’s the panicked feeling that comes with the realisation that you haven’t started your Christmas shopping and you have to hit the shops with five million other people who are equally freaking out about what to buy whom.
Not this year, Christmas! We’re ready for you. We’re getting all our Christmas shopping done in advance, in the one place, and we’re going to make a lot of people very, very happy. It’s a plan that’s too good not to share, so consider this a PSA.
The Hamper Emporium is an Australian owned and operated company that creates beautiful gift boxes and hampers. They’re a dedicated team who live and breathe gift giving all year round and it’s in their DNA to ensure every one of their gift hampers is made with love. Whether it’s for Christmas or Mother’s Day, birthdays, business or just-because, they have it sorted. Their experienced team of buyers hand select only the best quality products and gourmet treats, so you know even the toughest people to buy for can’t help but be impressed.
Here’s our list of traditionally hard-to-buy-for people and a few ideas that we’re sure will put a smile on their dial.
Your dad
Dads are always hard to buy for because they usually say “I don’t need anything” or “surprise me” which is SO unhelpful. You’ve got this. Why not spoil dad with a monogrammed embossed leather wash bag, or custom men’s leather keyring. Or treat him with a hamper full of gourmet treats he can savour and enjoy at his leisure, like a James Squire Ale hamper, or for wine-loving dads, the Red Wine and Nibbles hamper including the Kangaroo Island “The Islander” Shiraz that James Halliday scored 96 points, a delicious Tasmanian-made tapenade and gold wrapped Italian olive oil to drizzle on his favourite bread.
Your mother-in-law
Whether she’s near or far, your MIL can be tricky to buy for, especially if your partner’s not great with suggestions. She can’t help but be impressed by a beautifully presented hamper with a bottle of vintage Moet and gourmet nibbles, or a pamper hamper with the natural luxury of Jurlique skincare, sweet treats from Australian gourmet brand Morgan’s and the softest, sweetest satin floral robe that’s sure to have her feeling loved. (This is also a great option for her birthday or Mother’s Day.)
Your boss
Nothing says thanks for a great year like a Foodie’s Hamper bursting with savoury goumet delights including mixed nuts, artisan crackers, semi dried tomatoes, gourmet olives, tapenade and quince paste. Your boss will savour every bite (as they plan your next promotion).
Your kid’s teacher
What better way to say thank you to your child’s teacher than a Pink Clay and Rosé hamper to enjoy in the peace and quiet of the school holidays. Including exclusive natural skincare hailing from the pristine oasis that is Kangaroo Island, it’s packed full of natural ingredients, including honey from the only pure Ligurian Honey Bees in the world, along with other local nourishing ingredients. Paired with artisan nibbles from Morgan’s, a bottle of spectacular rosé and a luxury kimono-style robe to wrap her in cloud-like softness, she’ll be so thankful and all will be forgiven.
These are just a few to get you started, so hop online to see the full range and be kind to yourself this Christmas. The Hamper Emporium exists to take the stress out of gifting, and can get you sorted for Christmas, birthdays or for any occasion that calls for a gift you know will make someone happy.
