Actor Lynne McGranger, 65, shares her day on a plate.
6am Today is a filming day for Home and Away, so I start with a cup of tea before I leave the house.
6.45am Breakfast is a slice of grain toast with avocado, fresh truss tomatoes and two poached eggs. I drink two litres of water throughout the day.
10am I have a quick cappuccino, with no chocolate on top.
12.30pm To fuel my body, lunch is a salad consisting of tuna, rocket, spinach, mushroom, beetroot, carrot and avocado.

3.15pm During a break, I snack on a protein bar.
7.30pm At dinnertime, after a long day on set, I opt for a meal of chermoula spiced chicken with vegie rissoni and a glass of pinot.
Dr Joanna McMillan says:
Top marks for … Not over-eating by sticking to three meals and one snack. Even better, you've included a good protein source at each meal, which helps with appetite control, and plenty of vegies.
If you keep eating like this you'll … Risk accelerating the loss of bone density as you age. The recommended daily intake of calcium is 1300mg for women over the age of 50 and this day fell far short.
Why don't you try … Swap the processed protein bar for sliced apple and blueberries with cheese. This would boost your calcium and provide protective fruit polyphenols. Alternatively, try a smoothie made with milk (or a calciumfortified plant-based milk alternative), yoghurt and fruit. A handful of almonds would also provide calcium and protein.
Lynne McGranger is a HelloFresh ambassador.
