There are a few foods that spark a pretty aggressive level of debate whenever mentioned: Hawaiian pizza, mayonnaise, and those soft, frosted grocery store cookies that always showed up at class parties. As a proud member of team soft cookie — they’re freaking delicious, you can’t tell me otherwise — 7-Eleven’s newest iteration of these gems has me questioning my loyalty.
As shared by food blogger @junkfoodmom, 7-Eleven is now selling Slurpee-flavored cookies. The cookies come in a 10-pack, and are meant to taste like a cherry Slurpee. In a second post about the cookies, @junkfoodmom gave a surprisingly positive review, saying they weren’t as “sickly sweet” as she anticipated.
7-Eleven Cherry Slurpee frosted sugar cookies. Found these a few days ago and was hesitant to try them.. I figured they’d be sickly sweet . Well I’m glad I dived in because these are actually very good! ? Yea- I know .. I’m shocked too. They don’t just taste like cherry- they actually taste like a cherry Slurpee ?. And they are not overly sweet like most of these type of cookies. The frosting is fairly thick but is perfectly balanced with the soft cookie. I like ‘em! If you’re a Slurpee fan you need these. ??. #slurpee #cherryslurpee #7eleven #slurpeecookies #7elevenslurpeecookies #cherry #cherryslurpeecookies #junkfood #nostrawneeded

I’m still not convinced, but to try them yourself, check your nearest 7-Eleven — according to the convenience store chain, they’ll only be in stores for a limited time. Back in 2016, they also made a Slurpee-flavored donut—and if you were a fan of those, you’ll probably love these treats.
