It’s rosé season for those of us who do not already drink it year-round, and it looks like this summer we’ll have a brand new pink wine to sip on, courtesy of your internet boyfriend and mine, Post Malone.
Our dear Posty is launching his own French rosé called Maison No. 9, a name inspired by Post’s favorite tarot card, the Nine of Swords. He created and developed it in partnership with his friend and entrepreneur James Morrissey of Global Brand Equities, and Dre London, long-time music manager and Founder of London Entertainment. The three chatted about it at dinner in L.A. one night and then apparently were already visiting the vineyard in Provence a few days later.
The team sampled more than 50 wines before coming up with the blend you’ll be sipping on in the sun very soon. The wine sports a soft, light “Provencal Pink” color and features aromas of “ripe pineapple, pear and strawberry, meet hints of sweet French desserts once uncorked.” So dessert and many delicious fruits? I am in!
“Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy,” Post said in a press release: “It’s a nice switch up and I have been thinking about doing my own wine for a while. It was great to work with Global Brand Equities because they saw the vision and we got to do some super cool stuff. Maison No. 9 goes down smooth, and you’re all going to love it!”
The best part is we don’t have to wait too long to get our hands on it: It will be available online and in stores nationwide in June in three different sizes: 750mL, 1.5mL and 3L, with suggested retail pricing of $21.99, $44.99, and $89.99 respectively. All that’s left to do now is prep your face tattoos, get a glass chilled, and get ready to party (classily!) like Post.
