Real talk: Jenna Jameson looks bangin’ after losing 60 pounds on the keto diet—but before that, she dealt with problem areas just like everyone else.
According to Jenna, her main problem area was her stomach: “After I turned 40 whenever I gained any weight it went straight to my gut,” she wrote. “Then I got pregnant at 43 and BAM I had a permanent tire.”
Enter, the keto diet, which Jenna says “cracks the code to get rid of belly fat.”

I think #keto cracks the code to get rid of belly fat. After I turned 40 whenever I gained any weight it went straight to my gut, then I got pregnant at 43 and BAM I had a permanent tire. When I started the #ketodiet on April 22 of this year, the first fat to go was my waist. Miracles. Straight up organic miracle. I felt no bloating anymore and quite frankly, I feel snatched. ? FYI I eat a lot of organic veggies and fish. My meat consumption has lessened lately. My scale says 123 but I feel strong and energized. Ladies and gents… comment down below your problem areas. Mine? Tummy and arms. Ps how cute is Batelli? ?#ketotransformation #weightloss #weightlossjourney #beforeandafter #beforeandafterweightloss

“When I started the #ketodiet on April 22 of this year, the first fat to go was my waist,” she wrote. “Miracles. Straight up organic miracle.” Jenna also said that she stopped feeling so bloated; “quite frankly, I feel snatched,” she wrote.
Jenna is now 123 pounds (which, she says, is her body’s ideal weight)—that means she lost 60 pounds in just five months on the keto diet. And now, as Jenna said previously, it’s all about maintaining for her. “I don’t want to lose more, so I’m upping my calories from my usual #ketodiet,” she wrote in a previous Instagram post—but that doesn’t mean she’s eating less healthy. “I am not saying to myself… ‘it’s ok to eat garbage processed nastiness!’ I am sticking to yummy organic fresh foods,” she said.
In addition to upping her calories to maintain her keto weight loss, Jenna’s also started lifting weights at the gym. “Starting the task of building back all the muscle I lost while pregnant and being sedentary,” she wrote on another recent Instagram post showing her working out at the gym.

Starting the task of building back all the muscle I lost while pregnant and being sedentary. I’m not sure why, but the gym has always intimidated me. Overwhelmed. That’s a good word for how it makes me feel. But to be honest, I’ve got Bambi legs and they need a lot of work, so I shall push past my uncomfortability. My daughter and poshmark fill my time and fulfill me… but I know self care = mental health. I already feel better. Check back with me tomorrow , when I can’t walk and am set in cement. Side note, I listed some insane cute new jewelry and a few of my vintage Gucci pieces over on my Poshmark (link in bio) ? #squats #ketotransformation #buildingmuscle #weightlossjourney #weightloss #intermittentfasting #bodyafterbaby #fitmom

But that came with its own set of challenges too: “I”m not sure why, but the gym has always intimidated me,” she wrote, adding that it often overwhelms her. But Jenna’s still got her eye on the prize: “But to be honest, I’ve got Bambi legs and they need a lot of work,” she wrote, adding that she’ll push past being uncomfortable.
Hey Jenna, I know another keto queen who loves getting strong, too—maybe you should check out Halle Berry’s next #FitnessFriday post?
