In her most recent Instagram post, keto queen Jenna Jameson got deep about the fact that weight loss can’t fix everything.
Jenna’s been posting regularly about how great she feels since shedding an impressive 80 pounds after starting the keto diet back in April. She says the diet helped her reduce inflammation, totally changing the look of her face. Plus, she says before starting the diet, she felt slower mentally and physically, too. She even started a new Instagram account devoted to all things keto.
But in her latest post, she implies that her life didn’t do a complete 180 just because her body looks different.
“Weight loss doesn’t fix everything. Let’s talk,” she wrote. “Being thin won’t change sadness. It won’t fix relationships. It doesn’t quiet the demons. It doesn’t make you love yourself more. It doesn’t calm anxiety. It doesn’t take away the nightmares. It doesn’t make you feel social. It doesn’t make you of service to others.”
Still, Jenna wrapped the post up on a positive note, explaining that while the keto diet didn’t change her entire life, it got her a little closer to where she wanted to be. “It is a step towards all of these things. I guess my point is don’t be afraid to take that first step. I love you.”
Jenna posted these inspirational words under a selfie of herself in a hoodie looking outside the window.

This isn’t the first time Jenna’s opened up about how she’s feeling in an effort to motivate her followers.
Her #motivationmonday posts have delved into how she sometimes forgets to take it easy on herself. In one post, she wrote: “I think as women we are ‘trained’ into thinking we have to be perfect. We are expected to be amazing moms, snap back from hard pregnancies in six weeks, juggle careers and kids ballet classes and baseball games, be amazing lovers and never complain. Oh and shower.”

Here goes #motivationmonday 👏🏻sometimes I forget to take it easy on myself. I think as women we are “trained” into thinking we have to be perfect. We are expected to be amazing moms, SnapBack from hard pregnancies in 6 weeks, juggle careers and kids ballet classes and baseball games, be amazing lovers and never complain. Oh and shower. I have begun to forgive myself for not meeting every goal and perception. Since I’ve allowed myself room to breathe, I’ve blossomed… into a patient, grateful mother. This is the woman I want my daughter to emulate. Tell me what you do to better yourself. #ketotransformation #beforeandafterweightloss #intermittentfasting #ketodiet #grateful #sober #fitmomsofig #beforeandafter #sahmlife #momanddaughter
