Rihanna Created Fenty Beauty's New Silver Killawatt Highlighter to Save the World

We know you didn’t think it was possible, but Fenty Beauty’s Killawatt Highlighter just got even better. Rihanna revealed that next month, Fenty is dropping a special-edition diamond shade to benefit a very good cause.

Rihanna — the game-changing architect of Fenty Beauty and queen of our hearts — is as much a mogul as she is a philanthropist. She founded her first charitable foundation when she was 18 to help terminally ill kids and has since used her megawatt spotlight to advocate for kids around the globe. In 2012, she upped the ante on her philanthropy, founding the Clara Lionel Foundation, a charitable initiative dedicated to funding education, health, and emergency response programs around the world.

This week, Rih announced that Fenty Beauty and CLF are officially joining forces for a special-edition shade of Fenty's baller Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter ($34). "I’m so excited to bring together my @claralionelfdn and @fentybeauty to create this very special-edition #DIAMONDBALLOUT #Killawatt Highlighter," she shared on Instagram. The best part? Unlike a lot of beauty buys that give back and donate a portion of your purchase to a good cause, 100 percent of your #DIAMONDBALLOUT purchase will go to CLF. "At #CLF, my mission is to change and save as many lives as possible, and I’m so happy you can join me!!," Rih wrote.

It's not just the good cause that will make you want to buy the special-edition shade, which is as over-the-top pretty as the name makes it sound. Rather than the regular white packaging, #DIAMONDBALLOUT comes in a shimmery silver compact that perfectly matches the silvery highlighter, which is embossed with CLF's logo. The special-edition shade drops exclusively at Fentybeauty.com on August 1 at midnight EST.

As if that weren't enough, from August 1–24, every dollar spent on the Diamond Ball-Out Killawatt Highlighter or direct donation to the Clara Lionel Foundation automatically counts as an entry (so the full $34 price of a highlighter gives you 34 entries) toward winning a really sweet prize — a trip for the winner and a guest to Rihanna's Diamond Ball in New York City on September 13.

May 2018 be the year that highlighter (and Rihanna, obviously) saves the world.
