PARIS – La Redoute, the French clothing and home furnishing catalogue owned by Galeries Lafayette, has partnered with European beauty e-tailer Feelunique.
The collaboration reinforces La Redoute’s beauty offer as part of its strategy to develop a lifestyle positioning.
On Laredoute.fr, Feelunique will offer more than 100 beauty brands for women and men in categories including facial care, body care, hair care, makeup, accessories and shaving. Altogether, there will be some 2,000 stockkeeping units from brands such as Weleda, Dr. Hauschka, Jurlique, Korres, Sally Hansen and Bourjois.
The objective, according to La Redoute, is to carry up to 4,000 skus in the future.
Feelunique will directly handle beauty orders placed through Laredoute.fr.
“The beauty online experience entrusted to an expert reassures clients about their purchase on La Redoute and brings transparency about products’ provenance,” said La Redoute in a statement. “With this partnership, La Redoute demonstrates that its marketplace is recognized as a distribution channel that respects the image and communication codes of beauty brands, as for fashion and home brands.”
