Your March Sex Horoscope: Reboot Your Bedroom Habits

Each month, we’re spilling what (and who) will be going down in your love life. Read on as Donna Page, a professional astrologer with a graduate degree in counseling psychology, gives it to you straight.

Better prepare yourself now: March is not messing around when it comes to relationships. Venus, the planet of love and relationships, is going retrograde in the sign of Aries. This happens every couple of years and makes you reassess your love life like no other.

So it’s time to start cleaning house. Think about what’s working between the sheets and what isn’t, and consider what kind of spiciness you’re not getting but definitely want ASAP.

March is also the perfect month for simplifying things—give any relationships that create way too much stress in your life the boot or at least think long and hard about weeding them out.

It’s not all intense spring cleaning though. Deeper relationships and hot sex could be in store for some. Ask and you shall receive…

ARIES (MARCH 21–APRIL 19)

TAURUS (APRIL 20–MAY 20)

If you’re single, chances are your next sex buddy (or maybe something more serious) is out there—and they probably know one of your friends—making March a good month to get set up. Whether it becomes more than a fling or not, you’re about to see a lot more action.

GEMINI (MAY 21–JUNE 20)

Single ladies, towards the end of the month you’ll have to mull over whether that dude who caught your eye is better as a lover or a friend.

CANCER (JUNE 21–JULY 22)

Someone hot from your past is coming back into the picture this month, Cancer, and you’re going to have to decide how you feel about that. Whether it’s an ex or a fling you never had closure with, nostalgia is going to creep into the mix big time. Do you really miss the sex you had or are you blinded by rose-tinted condoms?

Coupled up? Make an effort to shut stressors out of your sex life this month. It’s only going to make reaching that O so much harder.

LEO (JULY 23–AUGUST 22)

Press pause on that work presentation you’ve been stressing over and focus on what you need to do to feel satisfied—like getting the hell out of town. This month, think about getting away—even if it’s only for a night (oh la la). A little hotel sex can give your relationship a serious boost. Single Leos should plan a weekend with the girls to clear out thoughts of their ex or frustrations with dating in general. Once you stop obsessing over the past, you’ll attract a new hookup that could turn into just what you’re looking for.

VIRGO (AUGUST 23–SEPTEMBER 22)

We know it’s hard for you, Virgo, but resist the urge to comment on your partner’s tendency to wear socks during sexy time (or your other pet peeves). Does it actually matter? Instead, hone in on why you joined forces with your partner in the first place and revisit some of those feelings. That can shift you out of critical mode—and the payoff will be huge in the bedroom.

If you’re in dating mode, start thinking a little more about what you actually want in a sidekick. And don’t be surprised if he shows up sometime in the middle of the month. A friend of yours from school or that leadership training course you took for work wants to set you up—don’t say no.

LIBRA (SEPTEMBER 23–OCTOBER 22)

Since Aries is opposite your sign, the Venus retrograde will impact you in a big way, Libra. Heads up: Someone from your past might be coming back in to your life. Don’t be surprised if you suddenly cross paths with a former hookup or ex, but this time you’ll see them in a much clearer light. It’s hard to say whether things will work out the second time around, but once you sort through your feelings mid-month, you’re going to have some seriously hot sex (either with that blast from the past or your boo who looks so much hotter in light of your sh*tty ex). Splurge on slinky lingerie, a new vibe, and body wax candles now—you’re going to need them. Trust.

SCORPIO (OCTOBER 23–NOVEMBER 21)

There’s a showdown between your work and your sex life this month, but you don’t have to sacrifice being a boss lady. You just have to make sure you pay special attention to your bae when you actually get to spend quality time together. If you don’t, you’re going to hear about it when Mars, the planet of arguments, comes into your sign at the end of the month.

Scorpios flying solo should take a timeout from work and push themselves to get out more. This month, you could meet someone worth taking home.

SAGITTARIUS (NOVEMBER 22–DECEMBER 21)

Two words that describe your sex life this month: March Madness, a.k.a. you’re going to be in the bone zone all month long, baby. Though a lover from your past may come back to haunt you this month, don’t stress. It’s all light and playful. You’ll have a good time catching up, and if it ends up in the bedroom, so be it.

If you’re already in a relationship, prepare yourself to see a sexy new side of your partner you’ve never experienced before.

CAPRICORN (DECEMBER 22–JANUARY 19)

Responsibilities and sex seem like an odd combo, but they’re more strongly linked for you this month than ever. In the first two weeks of the month, ask your S.O. to actually go pick up the takeout instead of hoping he’ll just read your mind. Divvying up the crap that neither of you wants to do will keep a sexy spark between you. By the middle of the month, there’s more freedom to lighten up and have fun.

Unattached Capricorns should get ready to take a risk over the next few weeks. It might be scary, but be honest with yourself about what you want—and don’t be afraid to ask a new hookup for it. Trust us, you’ll get it (and then some).

AQUARIUS (JANUARY 20–FEBRUARY 18)

Someone’s going to cross your path this month that you’ll quickly develop a thing for, and it’s likely they live on the other side of town. On the other hand, if you’ve been thinking about that guy you briefly swapped late-night texts with a while ago—now is the time to see if he’s interested in more than just booty calls.

Whether you’re single or in a relationship, your weekends are going to be packed this month. If you’re off the market, keep steady communication going with your S.O. in between all those St. Patty’s Day events and March Madness viewing parties. Your partner with thank you—in bed.
