It can be hard to make dinner interesting night after night, especially if you don’t have a lot of time to cook. That’s why we’ve fallen in love with Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel seasoning. We’ve been a fan of using bagel seasoning to make tasty meals for years now, and there are new everything bagel inspired recipes popping up all the time. It seems like us and Trader Joe’s aren’t the only ones who’ve caught on to this seasoning shortcut. There’s a new product at Costco that uses the blend of seeds and spices to make a gluten-free frozen entree that you’ll definitely want to stock up on: Costco’s Hook Line and Savor Wild Caught Everything Crusted Cod.
Each 27.9 ounce package costs just $14.99, and it’s dairy-free, egg-free, and gluten-free, so pretty much anyone who isn’t allergic to the fish itself can enjoy.
We can think of a million ways to use these everything crusted cod filets.
Bake them until crispy, then use them as the star of your fish tacos; turn them into crispy fish sandwiches; add a crispy everything bagel cod filet and some broccoli to a bowl of creamy lemon pasta; or just eat them as-is with a salad or some grilled veggies on the side. With all of the flavor you get from the everything bagel seasoning, a meal that can sometimes be humdrum (baked fish) will suddenly become a cornerstone of your weeknight cooking.
It’s also worth keeping a package of these on hand in your freezer even if you aren’t personally gluten-free. That way you’ll always have something quick and delicious to whip up if a GF friend or family member drops by for dinner unexpectedly.
