Jenna Jameson Says She’s Gained 4 Pounds Since Hitting Her Goal Weight On Keto

In September, Jenna Jameson celebrated a huge keto victory: reaching her ideal weight of 125 pounds—she even showed the scale picture to prove it.

But it turns out Jenna’s relationship with her scale is…complicated.

“Let’s talk about the dreaded scale,” Jenna, 44, wrote in an Instagram post yesterday. “I’ll admit it. I compulsively weigh myself every morning. I wish I didn’t.”

Let’s talk about the dreaded scale. I’ll admit it. I compulsively weigh myself every morning. I wish I didn’t. Oh well. This morning my weight was 4 pounds higher. I silently freaked out in my brain. Shut up demons! I know these are muscle gains!!!! I’ve hit the gym a lot this week and I can feel a difference. I feel strong. It might be in my head because it’s only been a week, but let a girl live ? I think the take away here is that we should all try to step away from the scale and pay attention to how we feel. Pay more attention to how our clothes sit on us and our energy levels. Lastly… thank you #keto for helping me kick life’s ass! ?? #beforeandafter #beforeandafterweightloss #ketodiet #ketotransformation #fitmomsofig #fitmom #intermittentfasting #ketoweightloss

Jenna went on to reveal that she’s actually gained some weight on the keto diet—despite losing more than 60 pounds since she started keto back in April. “This morning my weight was 4 pounds higher,” she wrote. “I silently freaked out in my brain. Shut up demons!”

Those extra pounds, however, might actually be muscle, Jenna says (she actually started going to the gym and lifting weights again just last week, according to another Instagram post).

“I know these are muscle gains!!!! I’ve hit the gym a lot this week and I can feel a difference,” she wrote. “I feel strong. It might be in my head because it’s only been a week, but let a girl live.”

In addition to ramping up her fitness routine, Jenna also recently added more calories to her keto diet in an effort to maintain her weight loss—but she’s not taking that as a free pass to over-indulge.

“Since I’m at my goal weight (125) I don’t want to lose more, so I’m upping my calories from my usual #ketodiet,” she wrote in a previous Instagram post. But, “I am not saying to myself… ‘it’s ok to eat garbage processed nastiness!’ I am sticking to yummy organic fresh foods,” she added—stuff like her favorites: ribeye steak, arugula salad, avocados, and cottage cheese, specifically.

Let’s talk maintenance. This is something I know very little about, but like everything I do… I’m trusting my intuition. Since I’m at my goal weight (125) I don’t want to lose more, so I’m upping my calories from my usual #ketodiet . But LISTEN TO ME, I am not saying to myself… “it’s ok to eat garbage processed nastiness! I am sticking to yummy organic fresh foods. I’m just allowing myself room. Yesterday I ate a HUGE siracha burger with jalapeños done protein style. I ate salmon and a big Caesars salad for dinner and had my usual three eggs and cheese for breakfast. My scale is reflecting and staying put. I think a lot of us worry about details that don’t really matter, like times and exact numbers. My advice is trust your intuition and trust your body. I also allow myself a treat more often now. Once a week I get some gelato or ice cream. Guilty pleasure for sure! Let me know your thoughts on maintaining your goal weight! Love you ? #ketotransformation #beforeandafterweightloss #beforeandafter #weightlosstransformation #weightlossjourney #keto #weightloss #intermittentfasting *for the haters that are saying I’m photoshopping, plz view my Ig story where I post video ?

As for her latest uptick on the scale, Jenna’s trying not to let it get the best of her. “I think the take away here is that we should all try to step away from the scale and pay attention to how we feel,” she wrote. “Pay more attention to how our clothes sit on us and our energy levels.
