Halle Berry Just Shared Her Two Fave Keto Snacks And I Want Them Both Right Now

Oscar-winning actress and ageless icon Halle Berry has the body of a 25-year-old, thanks to a killer fitness routine and the ketogenic diet—which she has said helps her stay slim and keep her diabetes in check. And thankfully for us mere mortals, she just shared even more of her diet secrets.

In an Instagram post on Friday (a.k.a. #FitnessFriday for Halle), the 51-year-old actress teased that she’d be sharing some of her workout moves—along with some of her favorite keto snacks—throughout the day on Instagram Stories.

“People are always asking me what kind of snacks I eat,” Halle wrote in the caption, “so today on my Stories I’m sharing two of my favorite #keto low-calorie snacks.”

Yay…it’s #FitnessFriday! Today we are doing the 10×10 Lunch Crunch! I know many of you may feel like you don’t have enough time to work out…well Peter and I have the answer for you. This is a 10 minute #workout that you can do anywhere, from your office to any small space you might find yourself in. Here’s how it works: You set a timer for 10 minutes and you do 10 exercises for 10 reps each. See how many sets of 10 you can do within 10 minutes. I like to do The Lunch Crunch when I’m working and all I have is a 30 minute lunch break so this allows me to still get the job done. You can find these 10 moves in my IG Stories and Fitness icon. Also people are always asking me what kind of snacks I eat, so today on my Stories I’m sharing two of my favorite #keto low-calorie snacks. Halle’s other keto snack pick: spicy raw sauerkraut. Sauerkraut (you know, fermented cabbage) is naturally low in carbs and is packed with probiotics, which promote gut health and, ahem, regularity. And some research has shown that certain strains of probiotics can promote weight loss (although more study is needed in that area!).

Add bone broth to this list (which Halle has previously said she drinks for glowing skin), since it only has one gram of carbs per cup, and you’ve got a pretty good keto snacks list for those days when cutting carbs makes you hangry.
