This Is the Spot Where Women Want to Be Touched Most During Foreplay

Before getting to the main event, most women have a few pit stops we like our partner’s hands to hit. And while we’re all sexual snowflakes, it turns out that a lot of us like to get touchy-feely in one particular spot.

Obviously, cracking the code to foreplay is kind of a big deal to dudes, which is why Men’s Health asked more than 2,000 Women’s Health readers for their go-to arousal zones. According to the survey, the area “around your nipples” wins the award for number one place to be teased.

Yup, 39 percent of women said that areolas are ground zero for foreplay (besides the V-zone). The inside of your neck wasn’t too far behind, with 28 percent saying neck play is their fave way to get revved up.

Not-as-popular foreplay destinations include the inner thighs (17 percent) and ears (10 percent). Plus, roughly six percent of ladies say they prefer a place called “other,” which has our imaginations running wild. Is it feet? Belly buttons? Butt cheeks? Unfortunately, we’ll never know.

The good news: Experts have given us some spine-tingling tips for ladies who love them some nipple action.

Jump in the shower. Heat brings blood to the surface of your skin, which makes nips more sensitive to touch. Oh la la.

Zone in. Apparently, the area of your areola that’s most sensitive is the spot right above your nipple, between 10 and two o’clock.

Switch it up. You can try licking, flicking, (gently) biting, rubbing, blowing, or whatever you please. It’s time to start experimenting.
