Woman ‘cures’ her acne in just three weeks – by using a bottle of oil

Type in "acne cure" into Google and you’ll get a dizzying 238,000,000.

Do all of them work?

Well, no. But that’s not the point. The point is we’re more than prepared to heed skincare advice and then pay for it, and the industry – which will be reportedly worth $130 billion by next year – knows that.

So it’s perhaps no surprise that there’s been a surge in the popularity of topic threads and forums dedicated to all things cosmetic.

This way, people can get recommendations without feeling they’re being pitched to.

One woman’s acne cure has recently taken the internet by storm, and at first it sounds a little odd.

Namely, it takes a bottle of oil…

Taking to Reddit to share her advice, the woman also posted a before and after photo, and the results are clear to see.

The left photo shows her skin, which is shiny and has just gone through a break-out, while on the right is a photo taken just three weeks later, and shows a dramatic improvement.

"The wonders rosehip oil has done for my skin after 3 weeks" she writes.

"I think the picture really shows just how much this routine helped lessen the oil on my face," she adds.

"I’ve always had REALLY oily skin and have had bad acne since 6th grade, [and] I’ve never been this clear. Rosehip is such a miracle to me and I was scared it would break me out, but luckily I’m on the other side of the fence!"
