The keto diet has a massive following among celebrities, and Vanessa Hudgens recently said that she dabbles in the diet. On Thursday, she promoted a keto-friendly “fat bomb” snack via an ad on her Instagram account…and some of her fans commented that they’re not here for it.

“#ad Finally the perfect Keto snack!!” Vanessa wrote. “@SlimFast #SlimFastKeto Peanut Butter Cup Fat Bombs are creamy peanut butter and chocolatey goodness… without all the sugar and carbs. And I loooovvvve that I can take it with me on-the-go!”

(FWIW, experts have clearly told WH in the past that keto does have its downsides and it’s definitely not for everyone. Jillian Michaels told us she’s straight-up anti-keto, but some nutritionists say it can work for certain people.)

Remember that time we had Vanessa Hudgens taste-test different keto snacks?

Some people also aren’t thrilled with the specific nutrition in the snacks. The fat bombs contain nine grams of fat (which isn’t shocking for a fat bomb), according to the SlimFast website, but they also have seven grams of saturated fat, which the American Heart Association points out can raise your cholesterol and increase your risk of heart disease. They also contain erythritol, a popular keto diet sugar substitute that can cause stomach pain and cramping.

Vanessa recently told PEOPLE that she rotates between intermittent fasting and keto. “If you have the right ingredients to keep you on track, I think it’s amazing,” she said of the keto diet. “I’m always making sure I’m getting those healthy fats in, so I eat a LOT of almond butter. You feel really energetic and supported on the keto diet.”

Vanessa also made it clear that keto and intermittent fasting isn’t for everyone—but it is for her. “I feel like it’s a recipe that works for me,” she said. “Everyone’s different of course, but for me, that’s what’s been the most beneficial so far.”

Vanessa hasn’t commented on the criticism about her post.
